The idea for the Wrench iD+ was envisioned 30-plus years ago on a farm and ranch in central North Dakota. During the many hours spent working with family on equipment, it seemed inefficient and time-consuming to be running back and forth between the toolbox or even carrying the entire toolbox over to the job site, using the trial and error method to find the proper size wrench or socket. I knew there had to be a better way and that’s when the idea for the Wrench iD+ was born.

The idea was reignited in Bismarck, North Dakota, when my son and I were working together on a piece of new equipment with required combinations of both standard and metric tools. He mentioned the same inefficient and time-consuming process I had experienced at his age. I explained my idea for the Wrench iD+, which ultimately led to the creation of Zuther Xtreme Technologies.

The Wrench iD+ debuted at the 2018 SEMA show in Las Vegas and is now available for purchase @ or
